The Antico Sipario Boutique Hotel, BW Signature Collection is a new Boutique Hotel that has resulted from the restoration of an old medieval (15th century) palazzo in the centre of the historic village of Paciano, just a few kilometres from Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany.
The building, which was a cultural centre and small theatre throughout the last century is now a venue in which art, and the theatre, in particular, play the role of a protagonist:
The eight rooms and the communal areas are actually dedicated to the concept of “Theatre” as defined in all its different expressions. We wanted to facilitate access to all the communal areas such as the garden, the internal cloister that is lit up by sunlight and which looks out over the walkways of the two floors, the conference room which has been created out of the former theatre and most of all, the hall which has been turned into a reception room.
