In a historic building in the centre of Cuneo, the Best Western Plus Hotel Royal Superga, Cuneo, Italy, sits on the great, arcaded square of this Piedmont town, below the wall of the Maritime Alps. Comfortable rooms and a generous breakfast of homemade cakes and Piedmont specialties set the tone, and the rooftop Terrazza Superga opens a sweeping view for an evening aperitif or a Sunday brunch.
It hosts meetings, weddings and celebrations too, with parking close by.
Comfortable rooms and a hearty homemade breakfast of cakes and Piedmont treats set up the day in the centre of town. Cuneo's long porticoes of shelter cafes and markets through the old town, the valleys of the Maritime Alps climb toward ski slopes, and the protected Gesso and Stura River Park is close by.
The truffle country of Alba and the vineyards of the Langhe spread out to the north.
Castles and vineyards dot the country around.
