A warm, family-run welcome on the island of Lampedusa, the Best Western Hotel Martello, Lampedusa, Italy, sits within walking distance of the town and its turquoise bays and nearby Guitgia Beach, its bright, spacious rooms an easy base for exploring the Pelagie Islands. The owners point guests toward the best of the island, its flavours, traditions and unspoilt nature, and the harbour, restaurants and coves lie close at hand.
A bar and sun terrace round out the stay.
It makes a relaxed island base far out in the Mediterranean.
A bar and a sun terrace look toward the water. Lampedusa lies closer to Africa than to Sicily, ringed by some of the Mediterranean's clearest water, the famous Rabbit Beach, often called one of the world's finest, and its protected loggerhead turtle shore a short way off, and boats set out to sea caves, snorkeling spots and empty coves around the coast.
Sunsets and starlit nights close each day on the island. CIR code: 19084020A303022; CIN code: IT084020A1TJGSAFS7
