A few minutes' drive from the centre of Piacenza, the Best Western Park Hotel, Piacenza, Italy, is a modern hotel with comfortable rooms and suites, free Wi‑Fi, family rooms, a sauna, meeting facilities and a private parking garage of its own, just off the A1 motorway. An easy base for business or for touring Emilia, it sits close to the old centre and the motorway, handy for the region's celebrated food and wine routes.
The historic squares are just a short ride away. Piacenza is a dignified old city on the River Po at the edge of Emilia-Romagna.
The famous Farnese equestrian statues stand over the medieval Piazza Cavalli at its heart, Piacenza Cathedral and Palazzo Farnese recall its long history, and the Colli Piacentini wine region rolls gently south toward the Apennines.
Vineyard hills and the wide Po frame the city on either side.
