A few kilometres from the old centre of Trento, the Best Western Hotel Adige, Trento, Italy, makes a comfortable alpine base for exploring the city and the wider Trentino, well placed for both its sights and its business district. Modern, comfortable rooms and easy road links set the tone, with the A22 Brenner Motorway and the alpine valley routes close at hand.
Forested mountains rise on every side.
Modern meeting rooms, a bar and free parking round out the comfortable alpine stay, and the historic centre, the river and the valley cable cars are all a short way off. Trento gathers around a frescoed cathedral square where the great Council of Trent once met, the moated Buonconsiglio Castle guards its painted halls and frescoed tower nearby, and the pale peaks of the Dolomites, threaded with cable cars and hiking trails, rise close on every side.
Terraced vineyards of Trentino sparkling wine climb the Adige valley.
